Let's be enthusiastic.

①Being able to pursue both study and sports.

Incorporating new things one after another(activities as a Super Science High School, research projects, and more).

Being able to make efforts to achieve a high career goal.

The buildings are very nice for high school buildings. They are hot in summer, though.

②Receive a wide range of knowledge about many subjects and topics. Get to know domestic and international news and trends.

To be able to explain Japanese culture and your hometown culture.

You should learn important things, although they do not appear directly in the exam.

③English tests every month. The text were very long.

I'm surprised that the breads sold at school are the same as they have been since I was a student, although they are not sold during this COVID-19 pandemic.

①Various Sakato original projects.

②Get to know the university, faculty, and department more properly. Now you can easily do it online. Step out of your comfort zone. Do it when you should do it.

③ I didn't have a smartphone and I didn't have family members who drove me to school, which made me stronger and smarter.

①The school has a history of over 100 years.

There are many opportunities to meet past graduates and to meet unique classmates.

②Study even if you are not good at the subject.

Friends can improve each other.

③I spent high school years training my body through club activities and my brain through study.

①There are students who can warmly and naturally accept a variety of others.

Nowadays, if you have a particular motivation, you have a chance to try various things.

②Study hard and enjoy school events.

There are things that you can do only when you are a high school student.

③I was looking forward to doing club activities every day.

Most of my daily study time was spent only preparing for English(English lessons were so hard every day).

①Many students are enthusiastic about everything. It's "Bunbu-Ryodo", which means doing well in both school and sports.

With the introduction of the Inquiry Department and SSH, it has become possible to carry out various activities, research and training that were not possible before.

②Work "seriously" on something. Read a lot of books.

Interacting with different people (not just classmates and club members).

③I think I was making an effort in both studying and my club activity.

I should have read more books. I also should have studied more about the essence of learning, not just memorizing things and calculating numbers.

①Sincere and serious.

But now there are many serious and straightforward students.

②What you want to do is different from each other, so we don't have one single piece of advice for all of you. Still, I just want you to try to do both studying and club activities.

When we had something we wanted to do, we discuss it with classmates and other high school students, involving other grades and teachers.

③I feel what I experienced during my high school days, trying to do both of them really hard, made what I am now.

①Each student has a high ability. Everyone can say hello to anyone.

②Talk with your family. When you become a college student, you can only meet once in a while.

③I was just studying and doing club activities.

①For better of for worse, the school prepares students for various events, experiences and opportunities. In our days, we didn't have time for inquiry-based learning and comprehensive learning, so we focused on subject learning. I think I rarely had the opportunity to look away from the school category.

In our present situation, we can experience various things as we like unlike other general high school students. From these activities, we can get valuable experiences and chances to be aware of the connection between society and us.

②I think you should read books. I want you to be absorbed in what you like. The teacher of my first grade was an English teacher, but one of the teacher's bookmarks in the class diary was "Not a day without the line." The impact of this sentence was great(I still keep it as one of the inscriptions on the right side). I always have to pick up a book and read one or more lines every day, which is one of the things I have been doing for more than 40 years, even when I was hospitalized. Our life is not so long, so we can get only limited experiences. However, we can live other people's lives though reading books. Moreover, reading lots of books and knowing what other people think lets us express ourselves easily.

③I loved reading books. Also, the math in the correspondence high school course TV program that I saw in the third year of junior high school was interesting. I had been studying math independently since I was in the first year. Before the second semester, I finished studying math, so I borrowed a textbook of math II B from the teacher. By the end of the first grade, I managed to understand the general contents of the textbook. After that, I was studying mainly the problems in the monthly magazine, "Recommendation to University" that I bought myself, and the special issue, "Search for Solutions", and "Daily Exercises". At that time, I was in the Track and Field Club. I remember being disappointed that I was the only one who was not able to get chance to participate in the prefectural competition. For that reason, I was happy when I was given the chance to participate in a 1500m tournament for the first time at the district tournament in May in my second year. Also, I often talked with friends who had similar tastes until late at night. We read books and devised study methods,(although there were many mistakes), so I think it was a fun and fulfilling life.
